Cosmetic Dentistry
and Veneers
An excellent alternative to crowns, veneers can
perfect your smile by masking stains, hiding chips,
correcting misalignment, and creating uniformity.
Veneers, which are made of thin, customized material
designed to slide over the teeth, look incredibly
natural, are long-lasting, and are relatively
easy to apply. Please contact
us today to find out more about veneers.

Tooth Whitening
Many of us feel that our smiles are most striking
when our teeth look especially white, but unfortunately,
soft drinks, coffee, tea, and tobacco can leave
behind ugly stains. To help you restore your gleaming,
bright white smile and to give you an added boost
of confidence, we offer many options, such as
in-office bleaching. To learn more about our options,
please contact us today!

Zoom!
Safe, fast, and convenient, the Zoom! In-Office
Whitening System uses a combination of formulated
lighting and hydrogen peroxide-based bleach to
whiten teeth—typically by six to 10 shades—in
one brief office visit. With simple, regular home
touch-ups and careful maintenance, a beautiful
Zoom! smile can last indefinitely. Zoom! Whitening
Gel is carefully applied to the enamel (the tooth's
protective coating) and heated by a special Zoom!
Whitening Lamp. After one hour, the gel is removed,
and a five-minute fluoride treatment is administered.
The end result is brighter, whiter teeth that
are essentially free of coffee, tea, soft drink,
wine, or tobacco stains. To learn more about Zoom!,
please contact our
office today!

Air Abrasion
An exciting new way to combat tooth decay without
needles or drills, air abrasion uses a light,
pressurized stream of aluminum oxide powder to
repair cavities. The procedure is safe, effective,
and painless, and results are long lasting. To
learn more about air abrasion, please contact
us today!

Onlays/Cerec3D
Porcelain onlays are an excellent conservative
solution to cavity pain, reduced chewing strength,
and general degeneration of the back teeth. Virtually
indistinguishable from natural teeth, onlays discreetly
restore teeth to an optimal state of health. They
resemble natural teeth so closely that only you
will know the truth. And, with Cerec 3D, these
may be done in one visit. To find out if onlays
are right for you, please contact
us today.
CEREC® is a registered trademark of Sirona

Crowns
Also called caps, crowns are natural-looking covers
that fit snugly over teeth to conceal cracked,
badly discolored, injured, or chipped teeth. Crowns
minimize physical discomfort in and provide support
to damaged teeth. Ultimately, crowns can improve
the overall appearance of your smile while making
your teeth more resistant to injury. And, with
Cerec 3D, these may be done in one visit. For
more information about crowns, please contact
us today.

Bonding
A smile can be dulled by stained, chipped, cracked,
or misaligned teeth, but bonding can quickly and
painlessly restore your smile’s natural
beauty. During the procedure, a thin coating of
plastic or resin is painted over the damaged teeth
and then shaped, strengthening them and making
them virtually indistinguishable from natural
teeth. To find out if bonding is the right option
for you, please contact
us today.

Root Canals
Each of our teeth contains a long, thin strand
of dental pulp—which provides the tooth
with nutrients and nerves—that extends down
to the tooth’s root. If the pulp becomes
infected or injured, the tooth’s nerves
die, and often, without endodontic treatment,
the tooth dies as well. Root canals are designed
to save such damaged teeth. During the procedure
(performed under anesthesia), a gap is drilled
into the tooth’s crown and pulp chamber,
diseased pulp is reshaped or removed, and the
tooth is permanently sealed with a gold, porcelain,
or tooth-colored crown. To learn more about root
canals, please contact
us today.

Periodontics
Unfortunately, periodontal (gum) disease can lead
to more than just an unsightly smile—it
can cause loss of teeth and eventually, if left
untreated, serious health problems. Called gingivitis
in its early stages, periodontal disease is caused
by excessive toxic bacteria (found in plaque)
that attack your mouth’s soft tissues. Early
warning signs of the disease include red, swollen,
bleeding gums. If caught early, we can help you
reverse the damage or, if detected late, we can
use one of many effective cosmetic dentistry procedures
to restore your mouth to a healthy, beautiful
state. For more information, please contact
our office today.

Tooth-colored Fillings
Gone are the days when tooth ailments and cavities
could only be treated with unsightly metal fillings.
Today, modern, tooth-colored fillings made of
durable resin or porcelain can be bonded to your
teeth for a stronger, more natural-looking effect.
These revolutionary fillings are virtually undetectable
and are easy to apply. To find out if tooth-colored
fillings are a good option for you, please contact
us today.
